Terms of use
The simple rules for using MindRocket Games at mindrocket-games.com. By using the website or the game you agree to them.
Who these terms are between
These terms are between you and the team behind MindRocket Games (“we”). MindRocket is made for children of about 6 to 10, so a parent, guardian or teacher should read these terms, set the game up and decide how it is used. When a child plays, the grown-up who lets them play accepts these terms for them.
Free to use
MindRocket is free for families, schools and anyone else, for personal and classroom use. There is no account, no subscription and nothing to buy inside the game.
Fair use
Please don’t:
- try to break, overload or get around the security of the website, the game or the family-code service;
- use automated tools to copy the site or send large numbers of requests;
- copy, sell or republish the games, artwork, Bip the robot, texts or sounds as your own.
You are welcome to link to any page and to share screenshots of your child’s progress.
The family code
The optional family code keeps an encrypted backup of game progress on our server. Keep the code private: anyone who knows it can open the backup. We can’t read backups, so we can’t recover a lost code. Backups that nobody opens for about 13 months (400 days) are deleted automatically. More in our privacy policy.
Our content
The games, art, characters, texts and sounds of MindRocket Games belong to us. The fonts are used under the SIL Open Font License.
What MindRocket is, and isn’t
MindRocket is a game that trains memory, focus and quick thinking. Children get better at the skills they practise; no game raises IQ by magic. It is not a medical, psychological or educational assessment, and it doesn’t replace advice from a doctor or teacher.
We work hard to keep MindRocket safe and running, but it is provided “as is”: we can’t promise that it will always be available, free of errors, or that progress saved in a browser will never be lost (browsers can clear website data). We may change, add or remove games and features at any time. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses or for lost game progress. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer law of your country.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we will update this page and the date at the top.
