How it works: one Daily Mission

A short, complete workout for the brain, then off to play outside.

  1. Bip picks 4 games

Each mission mixes your child’s weakest skills with one favourite. Every game takes about 2–3 minutes.

  2. The games adapt

Two right answers in a row make it a bit harder, one mistake makes it easier. Kids stay at “hard, but I can do it”.

  3. Brain Break

Stretch, drink some water, look far away. That is 10–15 minutes in total, and you set the daily limit.

Stars unlock new planets on the Brain Galaxy map, plus rocket parts and astronaut outfits. Missing a day never loses anything.

11 brain games, each training one real skill

From visual memory to grade-3 mental math. Tap a game to see how it works and how it grows with your child.

  • Light Grid

    Visual-spatial memory

Squares light up in order. Tap them back. The grid grows from 3×3 to 6×6.

  • Echo Band

    Sound and sequence memory

Colourful pads play a little tune. Play it back, note by note.

  • Number Rocket

    Working memory

Hear a chain of numbers, type it back. Later: backwards!

  • Pair Hunt

    Memory and matching

Flip cards to find pairs, then matches like 3 × 4 and 12.

  • What Changed?

    Attention to detail

Study a scene. It hides, something changes. Spot it!

  • Shape Spin

    Mental rotation

Is it the same shape turned around, or its mirror image?

  • Story Keeper

    Listening memory and understanding

A four-picture story is read aloud, then come fun questions.

  • Rule Switch

    Flexible thinking

Sort by colour… until the rule flips to shape!

  • Focus Fish

    Focus and self-control

Tap every fish, never the shark. Speed and calm, together.

  • Math Memory

    Mental math (grade 3)

Times tables and running totals up to 1000, held in your head.

  • Memory Palace Academy

    Real memory techniques

Bip teaches chunking, story linking and the memory palace.

All games by skill

Beat the grown-ups

Nothing motivates an 8-year-old like beating a parent. MindRocket makes it fair, friendly and honest.

Grown-up Duel

Pass-and-play on one device. You both get the same puzzle, best of 3 wins.

Grown-up Records

Honest “about” comparisons: Most grown-ups remember about 7 numbers. You remembered 9!

Teach a Grown-up

Your child teaches you the memory palace. Then you race on the same list.

No online leaderboards, no chat, no strangers. Ever.

Memory Palace Academy

The trick memory champions use, taught by Bip

Bip teaches three real techniques: chunking numbers, linking things with a silly story, and the memory palace, where you place things around a house you know. Then kids practise with lists of 10, 20 or 30 things.

Nine digits are hard. Three chunks of three are easy.

Questions parents ask

Is MindRocket really free? What’s the catch?

Yes, it is free. There are no ads, no in-app purchases, no subscriptions and no “premium” levels. MindRocket was first made for one 8-year-old and then shared with other families. There is no catch: we don’t collect personal data, so there is nothing to sell.

How much screen time is it? Can I set a limit?

A Daily Mission is 4 short games of about 2–3 minutes each, followed by a Brain Break: stretch, drink some water, look far away. That is 10–15 minutes a day.

In the parent area you set a daily time limit. When it is reached, MindRocket says “See you tomorrow, astronaut!” and stops. Short, regular sessions work better than long ones anyway.

Will MindRocket raise my child’s IQ?

No, and be careful with any app that promises it. These games train memory, focus and quick thinking. Children get better at the skills they practise; no game raises IQ by magic.

Research on brain training finds clear improvement on the practised tasks, but only weak evidence for broad effects such as a higher IQ or better grades. What MindRocket can do is make practice of useful skills short and fun, teach real memory strategies (see our memory palace guide), and give your child the good feeling of getting better at something.
