11 free brain games for kids
Every MindRocket game trains one real skill: memory, focus, flexible thinking or grade-3 mental math. Each one starts easy, adapts to your child and takes about 2–3 minutes a round.
Memory games
Remembering what you see, hear and read, and keeping it in the right order.
-
Light Grid
Trains visual-spatial memory
Squares on a grid light up one after another, each with a soft note. Your child watches, remembers the path and taps it back in the same order.
-
Echo Band
Trains sound and sequence memory
The band's colourful pads play a short tune. Your child listens, watches and plays it back, note by note.
-
Number Rocket
Trains working memory
Bip reads out a chain of numbers while they appear on the rocket. Your child types the chain back. Later, some chains have to be typed backwards.
-
Pair Hunt
Trains memory and matching
The classic card-flipping memory game, made smarter: the board grows, and later the pairs are not twins but matches, like 3 × 4 and 12, or a word and its picture.
-
Story Keeper
Trains listening memory and understanding
Bip reads a short story told in four pictures. Then come the questions: who was there, what did they find, what colour was it, what happened first?
Focus and attention games
Looking carefully, staying alert and stopping a quick tap when it would be wrong.
-
What Changed?
Trains attention to detail
Your child studies a little scene. A cloud covers it, and one thing changes: it moved, changed colour, grew, swapped places, vanished or appeared. Tap it!
-
Focus Fish
Trains focus and self-control
Fish swim across the sea. Your child taps every fish, but never the shark. Later, jellyfish join in, and they are not for tapping either.
Thinking and math games
Turning shapes in your head, switching rules and doing grade-3 math without paper.
-
Shape Spin
Trains mental rotation
Two block shapes appear. Is the second one the same shape turned around, or its mirror image? Your child turns it in their head and decides.
-
Rule Switch
Trains flexible thinking
Cards fall one by one and your child sorts them into two bins, by colour… until the rule flips and it is time to sort by shape.
-
Math Memory
Trains mental math (grade 3)
Numbers appear one step at a time and then disappear: "Start with 5, add 3, take away 2." Your child keeps the result in their head and types the answer.
Memory techniques
Real methods to remember more: chunking, story links and the memory palace.
-
Memory Palace Academy
Trains real memory techniques
Bip teaches real memory techniques step by step, in a cartoon house: chunking, story links and the memory palace. Then your child practises with lists of 10, 20 or 30 things, and can teach a grown-up.

Or let Bip choose: the Daily Mission
Not sure where to start? The Daily Mission picks 4 games for your child each day: mostly the skills that need practice, plus one favourite. After about 10–15 minutes and a Brain Break, it’s done. You can set a daily time limit in the parent area.
